Micro Business Opportunities & More. The Section 3 program requires that recipients of certain HUD financial assistance, to the greatest extent possible, provide training, employment, contracting and other economic opportunities to low- and very low-income persons, especially recipients of government assistance for housing, and to businesses that provide economic opportunities to low- and very low-income persons. This opportunity is available to HACB Public Housing residents.
The Section 3 is a great opportunity to gain work experience and grow your resume. As a participant, you will work with the ROSS Coordinator to establish goals you would like to reach during your internship. The goal is that after the internship you can obtain a full-time or part-time job.
