The Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura (HACSB) is pleased to announce the opening of several Project-Based Voucher (PBV) waitlists for affordable housing developments throughout the City of Ventura. These waitlists will be open for a limited time—from Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 8:00 AM (PST) through Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM (PST).
Eligible individuals and families are encouraged to apply during this open period. Applications submitted outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.

- 1079 Johnson Dr. Senior/Disabled Apartments
- 1055 Johnson Dr. Senior/Disabled Apartments
- Gregory Gardens Senior/Disabled Apartments
- Mission Park Senior/Disabled Apartments
These developments serve a range of households, including families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Applicants are encouraged to review eligibility requirements and property details before applying.
How to Apply:
All applications must be submitted online through the Housing Authority’s Rent Café Waitlist Portal. Paper applications will not be accepted.
Applicants must have a valid and active email address to complete the application. It is essential to maintain access to that email account for the duration of time spent on the waiting list, as all communications—including status updates—will be sent via email. Please note that duplicate applications will not be accepted.
To apply, please visit www.hacityventura.org, click on Housing, then Housing Choice Voucher, and select Application Process. From there, click “Apply for Housing”, complete the registration process, and choose the appropriate waitlist(s) you wish to apply for.
